Our stay at Alans Bed & Art was great. Alan was very friendly and had no problems with special wishes. It was easy to contact him in case of questions. The room was clean and the furniture was great. The room itself looked like a perfect picture in a magazine. We had all we needed in the room. Also it was really central. It’s very close to numerous bars, restaurants sights and the sea. We loved to stay at Alans Bed & Art and will surely visit it again. If you have the chance to stay there during the visit of beautiful Triest, we highly recommend it.

Fantastic small apartment. Lovely modern place, love the decoration, the place has all, a small kitchen, shower room, the bed, sofa, big tv, an small reading area, only bad thing was the view from the window, is located in a great area, short walking distance to the main square, and shops, also is a supermarket just down stairs, handy if you want to cook your own food. I recommend this place for a short stay in Trieste.

Elegance & Style. Great place to stay but not easy to find. Perfect English spoken and very helpful. Great shower. However no cutlery or plates to eat with. Also the Friends coffee bar downstairs is very handy for Breakfast and late night drinks.

Best choice in Trieste! The interior designs in room were so adorable. Every thing was perfect ! And Andrea was very kind and helpful! Would definitely be my first choice while next time in Trieste if possible! The location is in city center, and easy to find supermarket and restaurant near by!

“Riccardo Tripodi artworks is a showcase.
A simple showcase. That classic showcase where you look at and then launches an embarrassed look at the saleswoman involved in setting it up.
This site will remove embarrassment by leaving the naked look … like a mannequin. “

Riccardo, artist and curator, was born in Reggio Calabria in 1976. In 2008 he moved to Trieste where he currently lives and creates his works.
From 2011 begins to exhibit his work. In 2013 in Verona he developed and co-created the Open Way project, which was also organized in Slovenia in the following years.
The creation of works of art is only one of the many aspects of his personality as he is co-curator of the International Prize of Contemporary Art LYNX and also takes care of advertising campaigns and promotes artists through the web.
He has been a member of the exhibition commission of the Circolo Assicurazioni Generali of Trieste and collaborates with the Associazione Culturale Il Sestante as well as the BitCulturali e TuttoQui web portals.
Through his works, three distinct research paths can be pointed out. His personal study on the paradoxical outcome battles that continues to characterize his path almost completely sees an aerial perspective of conflict: the vision of God. With the same technique he blocks the real moments of particular cruelty of man, always belonging to war conflicts. In the third path develops non-places, the result of personal memories or legends.
He is constantly immersed in the study of the artists and architects of the past and, with the same passion through the LYNX award, has a careful look at contemporary art.
Tripodi’s works will remain on display until September 2019.

“It may be that our world is invaded by high-tech gadgets, but with the continued growth of analog talent and endless search of classic film cameras, it seems that the film’s rebirth has finally started. The film is not dead and is here to stay! ”

Does the (Analogue) film still has a place in culture and society?
We think it has and that’s why we strongly recommend visiting his Instagram profile.
You will not regret it!
